Persian Saffron Honey

Honey slowly infused with Persian saffron threads until it glows golden. Floral, warm and faintly bitter at the end, Gouya's saffron honey turns tea, yogurt, toast and baking into something special. Made in small batches from her Persian heritage recipe.

Ingredients

Just two ingredients: honey and Persian saffron threads. Nothing else added.

Persian saffron is prized for its deep red threads, strong floral aroma and golden color. Gouya steeps the threads slowly in honey so the flavor and color come through in every spoonful.

Ingredients (from label): organic honey, organic Persian saffron.

6 oz glass jar.

How to use it

Stir into tea or coffee

Drizzle over yogurt, labneh or ricotta toast

Swap it for regular honey in baking, dressings and marinades

Glaze roasted carrots, squash or chicken

Add it to a cheese board with figs and pistachios

Gift it: the jar is ready to give as is

Storage

Keep at room temperature with the lid closed. Honey naturally crystallizes over time. That's completely natural and doesn't change the flavor. To make it pourable again, set the closed jar in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes.

Shipping & returns

Ships in 1–2 business days across the US. If a jar arrives damaged, send a photo and we'll replace it.

Why Persian saffron

A little goes the whole way

Saffron is one of the world's most prized spices. Each crocus flower gives just three red threads, picked by hand. Gouya steeps those threads into honey, so every spoonful carries saffron's color, aroma and floral warmth.
